Commission operations

As reported by media last week, the Commission executed search warrants in the Northern Territory in relation to ongoing investigations.

Since commencement and up to 20 October 2024, the Commission has obtained 37 search warrants.

The Commission refrains from disclosing specific information relating to its operational activity as this may lead to speculation about those matters and may put those being investigated on notice of an investigation.

While the Commission acknowledges that there is interest in our activities, disclosures can jeopardise current or potential investigations by the NACC or other agencies, or may unfairly impact reputations before a finding is made.
